Comparing two biopsy methods for lung cancer genetic testing

Who can take part

  • You must have a spot in your lung or chest lymph nodes (seen on a PET or CT scan) that your doctor thinks might be cancer or a cancer that has spread from elsewhere.
  • The first small sample (taken during a quick look with a scope) must have shown cancer cells.
  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You must not be pregnant.
  • You must not be in prison.
  • Your doctor must decide it is safe to biopsy the spot.
