Who can take part
- You are the main caregiver for a veteran or service member who had a traumatic brain injury (TBI) at least 6 months ago.
- You've been providing care for at least 6 months.
- You help them daily with physical, thinking, or behavior issues related to their brain injury.
- At least half of your caregiving is for problems caused by the brain injury, not other health problems.
- You feel very stressed or overwhelmed by your caregiving role (score of 8 or higher on a burden test).
- You can use a telephone and do not have a major mental health diagnosis like schizophrenia.
