Who can take part

  • You are a woman over 18 years old.
  • You had a planned cesarean section or vaginal delivery and your placenta would normally be discarded.
  • You have been tested for infections during pregnancy and results are negative.
  • You agree to donate your placenta for educational use to train future neurosurgeons.
