Who can take part
- You must be between 7 and 25 years old at the time of surgery.
- A pediatric neurologist has diagnosed you or your child with dystonic or choreoathetotic cerebral palsy, with a clear history of lack of oxygen to the brain.
- You or your child have tried oral meds for movement issues, but they didn't help enough.
- You are able to attend follow-up visits for brain recordings and testing.
- You are not pregnant, do not have uncontrolled epilepsy, or other serious medical risks for surgery.
