Who can take part
- Your breast cancer has come back in the same breast at least 3 years after you finished whole breast radiation.
- The new tumor is smaller than 3 cm and can be removed with surgery.
- After surgery, all cancer is removed with clear margins (no tumor cells at the edge).
- You are 18 or older and in generally good health (able to do daily activities).
