Targeted radiation therapy for brain lymphoma

CNS Lymphoma

Part of Blood & lymphatic, Brain & nervous system, Cancer, Immune system & allergy clinical trials.

This trial tests a new targeted radiation therapy for lymphoma that has spread to the brain or spinal cord and has not responded to other treatments. The treatment uses a radioactive molecule (yttrium-90) attached to a substance that homes in on a specific marker (CXCR4) on the lymphoma cells, aiming to destroy them while limiting damage to healthy tissue.

  • You have at least one tumor spot in the brain or spinal cord covering that can be seen on a scan.
  • You have had a special PET scan (called PentixaFor) within the last 2 months that shows your tumor cells have a certain marker (CXCR4).

NCT06730542Recruiting· Phase 1
Zanubrutinib plus pola-R-CHP and high-dose methotrexate for secondary CNS lymphoma

This trial tests a combination of targeted therapy (zanubrutinib) plus a standard chemo-immunotherapy regimen (pola-R-CHP) and high-dose methotrexate for people whose large B-cell lymphoma has spread to the brain or spinal cord. The goal is to see if this approach can effectively treat lymphoma in both the body and the central nervous system.

NCT05583071Recruiting· Phase 2
Testing a four-drug plan for primary brain lymphoma

This Phase 2 trial studies methotrexate, tafasitamab, lenalidomide, and rituximab for primary B-cell lymphoma that starts in the brain/spinal fluid. It aims to see how well this combination works for people who cannot have certain high-dose stem cell treatment.

NCT04006561Recruiting
Brain lymphoma study using targeted whole-brain radiation

This trial studies how newly diagnosed primary central nervous system (brain) non-Hodgkin lymphoma responds to a specific type of radiation to the whole brain, and it also looks at changes in thinking, mood, and behavior. It may help doctors understand how this treatment affects day-to-day brain function.

Chemotherapy combination for brain lymphoma

This trial tests a combination of chemotherapy drugs to treat lymphoma that started in your brain. The goal is to see if this treatment helps without having to use whole-brain radiation.

Targeted drug combo after focused radiation for CNS lymphoma

This trial tests a combination of two targeted drugs (loncastuximab tesirine and rituximab) given after focused radiation (SRS) for people with CNS lymphoma that has come back or not responded to treatment, or who cannot get standard high-dose methotrexate. The goal is to see if this approach is safe and effective.
