This study tests a new medicine called BHV-7000 for adults whose focal seizures (starting in one part of the brain) are not controlled by current treatments. The goal is to see if it can reduce seizures safely.

Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with focal onset epilepsy (seizures that start in one part of the brain) for at least 1 year.
- Your seizures are not controlled by at least two different seizure medicines you've tried.
- You are currently taking 1 to 3 seizure medicines (and no more than 4 epilepsy treatments total).
- You can keep a daily seizure diary.
- You have not had a very long seizure (lasting more than 5 minutes) or clusters of seizures that can't be counted in the last 6 months.
