Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with lupus nephritis (type III, IV, or V) through a kidney biopsy.
  • Your kidney function is moderately reduced (eGFR between 15 and 60 mL/min).
  • Your lupus is currently quiet or well-controlled, with no active kidney symptoms.
  • You've been on a stable dose of prednisolone (5-7.5 mg daily) with or without MMF or AZA for the last 3 months.
  • You do not have type 1 diabetes, frequent urinary tract infections, or a history of ketoacidosis.
  • You are not on dialysis or have advanced kidney disease (stage 5 CKD).
