Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 65 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with Takayasu arteritis (a rare disease that inflames large blood vessels).
- Your Takayasu arteritis is currently inactive (not causing symptoms or flare-ups).
- You have narrowing or blockage in the arteries that carry blood to your brain (like the carotid or vertebral arteries).
- A special MRI scan has shown that blood flow to your brain is lower than normal.
- You have no moderate-to-severe narrowing in the main artery of both upper arms.
