This study looks at a new way to measure stroke risk in people with a specific type of brain artery narrowing (atherosclerosis) in the front part of the brain. You might participate if you have this condition and are willing to have imaging tests and take standard medicines.

Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 80 years old.
- You have a narrowing (50% to 99%) of a brain artery in the front part of your brain caused by hardening of the arteries.
- You do not have other causes of artery narrowing like moyamoya disease or vasculitis.
- You can safely take anti-clotting medicine and cholesterol-lowering medicine (statins).
- You can have an MRI without metal implants or severe claustrophobia.
