Who can take part

  • You must be 18 or older
  • Your A1c (average blood sugar over 3 months) must be between 6.5% and 8.9%
  • You must be willing to visit a Quest lab for tests
  • You must have a smartphone and be able to use the Viome app
  • You must not have taken antibiotics in the last month
  • You must not be taking insulin or certain diabetes pills that increase insulin
