Who can take part

  • You have liver cancer (HCC) at a stage where TACE is a treatment option, and you cannot or choose not to have surgery, transplant, or ablation.
  • Your liver function is good enough (Child-Pugh A or B) and you are generally active (ECOG score 0-2).
  • You have at least one measurable tumor in the liver that hasn't been embolized before, and the largest tumor is 10 cm or smaller.
  • You are willing to sign a consent form and participate.
  • You do not have severe liver or kidney problems, very low blood counts, serious infections, major blood vessel blockage, or allergies to the materials used.
