Who can take part

  • Your child is between 8 and 11 years old
  • Your child is in early puberty (Tanner stage 1 or 2)
  • Your child lives with you at least half the time in the Houston area
  • Your child usually sleeps 8.5 to 11 hours a night and sleeps alone
  • Your child can read and write in English, and you can too
  • Your child does not have a sleep, psychiatric, or developmental disorder (like ADHD) or take sleep-related medications
