Who can take part
- You are at least 50 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with advanced (end stage) dry or wet age-related macular degeneration in one or both eyes.
- Your vision in the better eye is poor (20/80 or worse) but vision in the worse eye is not worse than 20/400.
- You have no significant cataracts (or have had cataract surgery) and you do not wear contact lenses.
- Your glasses prescription is within a mild range (between -1.50 and +1.50 diopters).
