Vision and Imaging Tests for Early and Intermediate AMD

Age - Related Macular Degeneration (AMD)

Part of Eyes & vision clinical trials.

This study tests new ways to measure vision and take detailed eye images in people with age-related macular degeneration (AMD), a common eye condition affecting central vision. The goal is to develop better tools for future AMD treatment trials.

How AMD affects daily life: an eye-imaging study

This study uses a special camera to take pictures of the back of your eye (retina) to see how age-related macular degeneration (AMD) affects everyday activities like reading and recognizing faces. It also compares people with AMD to healthy volunteers to understand the differences.

NCT06198452Not yet recruiting
Vision improvement study for advanced AMD

This trial tests a new approach to improve vision in people with end-stage age-related macular degeneration (AMD). It aims to help those whose vision has dropped to a moderate or severe level, even with glasses, and who are not contact lens wearers.

A study of intermediate age-related macular degeneration

This study looks at people with intermediate age-related macular degeneration (AMD), a common eye condition that can affect central vision. The researchers want to better understand how AMD changes over time by using different types of eye scans. This may help find ways to monitor the condition and guide future treatments.

Monitoring early to moderate age-related macular degeneration with AI

This study uses artificial intelligence to track changes in the eyes of people with early or intermediate age-related macular degeneration (AMD). It aims to better understand how the disease progresses and may help doctors personalize care.

Vision test study for macular eye disorders

This study uses a special vision test called microperimetry to track how well the macula (the center of the retina) works in people with certain eye conditions like geographic atrophy or diabetic eye disease. Healthy volunteers are also needed for comparison. The goal is to understand how these conditions affect retinal function over time.
