  • Your baby was born between 22 weeks and 32 weeks and 6 days of pregnancy.
  • Your baby's birth weight was less than the 25th percentile for their age (meaning they were smaller than most babies at that stage).
  • Your baby does not have a major birth defect or chromosomal condition.
  • Your baby is not considered terminally ill or receiving only comfort care.
