Who can take part

  • You have a cataract caused by aging.
  • You are planning to have cataract surgery with ultrasound (phacoemulsification).
  • You have a complete eye measurement and your eye length has been measured with a special device (interferometer).
  • You do not have glaucoma, uncontrolled diabetic eye disease, pseudoexfoliation syndrome, age-related macular degeneration, dry eye syndrome, or other eye problems.
