- You are 21 years or older
- You have cataracts in both eyes due to aging
- Your vision is better than 0.05 (roughly 20/400)
- Your eye length is between 21.00 and 27.00 mm
- You have less than 1.0 diopter of astigmatism (a common focusing issue)
- You have no other serious eye conditions or previous eye surgery
