Who can take part
- You have been diagnosed with high-risk prostate cancer (Gleason score 8 or higher, PSA level of 20 or more, or a tumor that can be felt during a rectal exam).
- You are male and 18 years of age or older.
- You have not started hormone therapy (androgen deprivation therapy) yet.
- You are not claustrophobic and can tolerate being in a scanner.
- You are generally in good health and do not have other serious medical conditions that would make participation unsafe.
