This trial is testing whether a common antidepressant called fluoxetine (Prozac) can help your immune system fight colorectal cancer before surgery. It's for people with early-stage colorectal cancer who have not yet had treatment.

Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have colorectal cancer that has not spread to other parts of the body and you have not yet started treatment (like chemotherapy) before surgery.
- You are not currently taking any antidepressant medications, including Prozac or similar drugs.
- Your heart's electrical activity (QTc interval) is normal, based on an EKG test.
- You have not had another cancer (except some skin cancers) in the last 5 years.
