Who can take part

  • Your child is between 5 and 10 years old.
  • Your child has either Fragile X syndrome (confirmed by genetic testing), or autism without a known genetic cause, or is a typically developing child.
  • If your child has autism, they must have a score of 15 or less on a special questionnaire about social communication.
  • Your child is in good overall health with no major medical issues.
  • Your child does not have any hearing or vision problems that can't be fixed with glasses or hearing aids.
  • Your child has not had any substance abuse problems in the past 6 months.
