Who can take part
- You are 18 years old or older.
- You have superficial venous insufficiency (a vein problem near the skin) and your doctor says surgery is needed.
- You will need sedation (relaxing medicine) and local anesthesia (numbing medicine) for the surgery.
- You do not have any medical reason that makes local anesthesia or the sedatives unsafe for you.
- You do not have hearing or vision problems that would prevent you from using a virtual reality headset.
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you are not under legal guardianship.
