Who can take part

  • Your child must be between 23 and 48 months old at the start of the study.
  • Your family must be willing to have your child drink either whole milk or 1% milk (assigned randomly) for one whole year.
  • You need a smartphone, tablet, or computer with internet and email at home.
  • You must speak and read English or Spanish, since all study materials are in those languages.
  • Your child must not have lactose intolerance, milk allergy, or any condition that affects growth or eating.
  • Your child must live primarily with you and have health insurance.
