Who can take part

  • You have a solid tumor that has spread or cannot be removed and has not responded to standard therapy.
  • You have at least one tumor that can be measured on a scan.
  • You have recovered from side effects of prior cancer treatments (except hair loss).
  • You are able to be up and about at least half of the day (ECOG 0-2).
  • Your blood counts, kidney function, and liver function are within certain limits.
  • You agree to use effective birth control if you or your partner can become pregnant.
