Who can take part
- You are at least 18 years old.
- Your doctor suspects you have interstitial lung disease (ILD)—a condition that causes scarring in the lungs.
- You've had a high-resolution CT scan of your chest within the last 3 months.
- Your lung function tests (FVC and DLCO) are at least 50% and 35% of the expected value, respectively.
- Your heart function (measured by echocardiogram within the last year) shows normal pressure in your lung arteries.
- Your body mass index (BMI) is 35 or lower, and your blood clotting tests are normal.
