Who can take part
- You have a papilla (the opening where bile and pancreatic juices enter your intestine) that hasn't been cut or treated before.
- You are 18 or older.
- You are scheduled for an ERCP procedure where a guidewire goes through the bile duct.
- You do not currently have acute pancreatitis (a sudden, painful inflammation of your pancreas).
- You do not have severe active heart or lung disease.
