Who can take part

  • You have or recently had a definite heart infection (infective endocarditis) based on standard guidelines.
  • You haven't had these specific dental X-rays (OPT and CBCT) for this infection before.
  • Your health is stable enough to have both types of dental X-rays done.
  • You are expected to live at least 6 more months.
  • You agree to visit the hospital dental department or your own dentist for follow-up.
  • You are over 18 years old and have health insurance.
  • You can understand the study and give your permission to join.
