Who can take part
- Must be 65 years or older
- Must have a condition that weakens the immune system, such as chronic kidney failure, HIV, leukemia, or organ transplant
- Must have received at least one dose of the pneumonia vaccine called PPSV23
- Must not have had a PPSV23 shot in the last 5 years
- Must not have had any of the newer pneumonia vaccines (PCV13, PCV15, or PCV20) before
- Must not have had pneumonia caused by a specific bacteria in the past
