Biobank study for bile duct and gallbladder disease samples

This study builds a research database and a “multiomics” biobank (stored samples for lab testing) from people with benign and malignant bile duct or gallbladder conditions. It may help researchers understand these diseases better and improve future testing and treatments.

NCT06192719Recruiting
Study of gallbladder cancer, dysplasia, and gallstones

This trial is studying people with gallbladder cancer, abnormal cell changes (dysplasia), or gallstones. It aims to learn more about these conditions, possibly before or after treatment, or before gallbladder removal surgery.

Liver and bile duct cancer registry study

This registry collects information from people with liver cancer or bile duct cancer to learn more about the disease and its treatment. Anyone 18 or older with any stage of these cancers can join.

NCT05179486Recruiting
Study genes and blood markers in bile duct and gallbladder cancers

This study looks at genetic and molecular patterns in people with bile duct or gallbladder cancers, and compares them with people without cancer (or with chronic liver disease). It may help researchers understand why these cancers happen and how to spot risk earlier.

NCT06711211Recruiting
Digestive cancer registry study

This study collects information from patients with different types of digestive cancers to better understand these diseases and improve future care. It does not test a new treatment, but helps doctors learn more about digestive cancers over time.

NCT07515950Not yet recruiting
Biomarker study for biliary tract cancer tissue

This study analyzes tumor tissue samples from patients with biliary tract cancer (a rare cancer of the bile ducts or gallbladder) to identify genetic and protein markers that may help doctors better understand and treat the disease. Your stored tissue sample and medical records would be used to find patterns that could improve future treatment options.
