Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You have medullary thyroid cancer (MTC) that can be treated with surgery, either for a new or previously treated tumor.
  • You are expected to live at least 12 weeks.
  • Your heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, and other major organs are working well enough, and you do not have a life-threatening infection.
  • You are willing and able to understand the study and give your written permission to take part.
