Optima Coil Registry for Brain Aneurysm Treatment

Intracranial Aneurysm

This registry tracks how well the Optima Coil System works to treat brain aneurysms. It is for adults with a berry-shaped aneurysm that hasn't been treated before and is smaller than 24 mm. The goal is to see how safe and effective these coils are in real-world use.

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • You have a brain aneurysm that is berry-shaped, hasn't been treated before, and is 24 mm or smaller.
  • At least 75% of the coils used to treat you will be the Optima Coil System.
  • You or your legal representative has given permission for the study and you agree to follow-up visits.
  • If your aneurysm has already ruptured, it must be a mild to moderate bleed (not the most severe grade).
  • You are expected to live more than 1 year, and you are not in another conflicting study.
