Who can take part

  • You are generally healthy (ASA I or II) – meaning you have no serious medical conditions or only mild, controlled ones.
  • You are between 20 and 40 years old.
  • You are scheduled for a septorhinoplasty (a surgery that fixes both the inside of your nose and its shape).
  • You do not have a bleeding disorder (like problems with clotting).
  • You do not have uncontrolled high blood pressure, heart disease, or uncontrolled diabetes.
  • You are not pregnant and do not have a collagen disorder (like Ehlers-Danlos or Marfan syndrome).
