Part of Heart & circulation clinical trials.

This study analyzes pericardial fluid (the fluid around your heart) to understand why pericarditis comes back. If you have pericarditis or other heart fluid buildup requiring drainage, or if you're having heart surgery, you may be able to participate.

NCT05925790Recruiting
Testing immune markers in recurring pericarditis

This study looks at immune blood markers to understand different types of recurring inflammation around the heart (pericarditis). The goal is to see whether certain marker patterns (like IL-1RA antibodies and suPAR) are linked to inflammation and what might be driving it.

Study of VTX2735 for recurring pericarditis

This trial tests an experimental drug called VTX2735 for people with recurring pericarditis (inflammation around the heart). It aims to see if the drug can help reduce pain and inflammation during a flare-up.

NCT07245849Not yet recruiting· Phase 3
Pericardial imaging study for recurrent pericarditis

This trial uses special imaging tests (PET and MRI) to study inflammation of the heart lining in people who have had pericarditis more than once. It aims to better understand the condition and how it can be diagnosed.

Study of KPL-387 for returning pericarditis

This study tests a new medicine, KPL-387, for people whose pericarditis keeps coming back despite standard treatments. It aims to see if this medicine can reduce flare-ups and help you feel better.

Inflammatory disease samples for heart research

This study collects blood and health information from people with inflammatory diseases to better understand how inflammation affects the heart. By participating, you can help researchers find better ways to prevent heart problems.

NCT04343430Recruiting
Hospital study for fluid buildup in heart failure with preserved heart function

This study looks at how well doctors can assess fluid buildup before you leave the hospital if you have a type of heart failure called “preserved ejection fraction.” It may help improve decisions about when and how safely people are discharged.
