Pericardial imaging study for recurrent pericarditis

Pericarditis

Part of Heart & circulation clinical trials.

This trial uses special imaging tests (PET and MRI) to study inflammation of the heart lining in people who have had pericarditis more than once. It aims to better understand the condition and how it can be diagnosed.

Testing immune markers in recurring pericarditis

This study looks at immune blood markers to understand different types of recurring inflammation around the heart (pericarditis). The goal is to see whether certain marker patterns (like IL-1RA antibodies and suPAR) are linked to inflammation and what might be driving it.

Using scans to diagnose heart device infections

This trial tests if a special PET scan can help doctors better diagnose and follow infections in people with implanted heart devices like valves, pacemakers, or grafts.

NCT05499637Recruiting· Phase 2
PET/CT scan using a special tracer for heart inflammation

This Phase 2 study tests whether a PET/CT scan using a radioactive tracer can help evaluate acute heart inflammation. It may help doctors better identify inflammation and guide follow-up, especially in people suspected of specific heart inflammation conditions or recently after heart transplant follow-up.

FDG heart scan study for people after a heart attack

This trial studies people who had a heart attack more than 90 days ago using an FDG PET/CT scan of the heart. It may help doctors learn more about what the scan shows and how it could be useful after heart attacks.

NCT07296081Recruiting
PET scan study for heart scarring in heart failure

This study uses a special PET scan to look for scarring (fibrosis) in the heart muscle of people with heart failure. It may help doctors better understand why some hearts get stiff or weak.

Scan to help diagnose infection on a replaced heart valve

This study tests a special type of PET/CT scan to better detect infections on a prosthetic (replaced) heart valve. It may help doctors confirm whether infection is present, based on imaging results.
