Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- You have advanced stomach cancer or cancer where the stomach meets the esophagus that has gotten worse after first-line chemotherapy.
- You have at least one measurable tumor that has not been treated with radiation or has grown after radiation.
- You are able to perform daily activities with little or no help (ECOG score 0 or 1).
- Your major organs (liver, kidneys, bone marrow) are working well enough.
- You have not used paclitaxel or docetaxel before, or it's been more than a year since you used them as a pre-surgery treatment and your cancer has since progressed.
