Who can take part

  • Your child must have a neuroblastoma (a tumor starting in nerve cells) that fits into one of the three study groups based on tumor size, location, and risk factors.
  • Your child must be between 0 and 18 years old.
  • Your child must have had a special CT scan (with contrast) within 14 days before the planned surgery to help plan the operation.
  • A team of experts must have decided that surgery is the best option for your child.
  • You (and your child, if old enough) must sign a form saying you understand the study and agree to take part.
  • Your child cannot have certain very high-risk tumor features (like many risk factors plus a central location or large size) that would make keyhole surgery too risky.
