- You are a male over 40 years old.
- Your prostate MRI showed a bulge or sign that the cancer may have spread just outside the gland.
- You have a common type of prostate cancer (acinar adenocarcinoma) that matches the MRI spot.
- You are healthy enough for surgery (ECOG score 0 or 1) and expected to live at least 5 years.
- You are sexually active and want to try to keep erections after treatment.
