Who can take part
- You have prostate cancer that is stage T3a or T2 (with tumor near the prostate surface) and you are scheduled for robot-assisted prostate removal surgery.
- You are between 50 and 80 years old.
- Your cancer is a type called adenocarcinoma with a Gleason score of 6 to 10.
- A special PET/MRI scan (PSMA-PET/MRI) shows the cancer has spread outside the prostate capsule.
- You have not had radiation to the pelvis or hormone therapy for your prostate cancer before.
- You do not have serious heart or lung problems, mental illness, or cognitive issues that would prevent you from following the study.
