Who can take part
- Your baby must be an infant, with an older sibling either diagnosed with autism (high-risk group) or without autism (low-risk group).
- Your baby cannot have a known genetic condition like fragile X syndrome.
- Your baby cannot have a serious medical or neurological problem that affects growth or development.
- Your baby cannot have vision or hearing loss.
- Your baby must have been born at full term (37 weeks or later) and weigh at least 4.4 pounds.
- Your baby cannot have a family history of certain mental health conditions in a parent or sibling (like schizophrenia or bipolar disorder).
