Who can take part

  • You are 18 to 90 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with COPD and are currently in the hospital for a flare-up (exacerbation).
  • At the start of the hospital stay, your blood oxygen level was low (below 60 mmHg without extra oxygen, or below 55 mmHg with your usual oxygen).
  • At discharge, your blood oxygen level has improved to above 60 mmHg (with or without oxygen).
  • You can understand and sign the consent form.
