  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have been diagnosed with cancer.
  • You are currently admitted to a hospital medical floor (not intensive care).
  • Your shortness of breath at rest is a 4 or higher on a 0-10 scale (0 = no shortness of breath, 10 = worst possible).
  • You speak English or Spanish.
