Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have Achilles tendon pain confirmed by ultrasound showing thickening or increased blood flow in the tendon
  • Your pain is in the middle part of the tendon, about 2-6 centimeters above the heel bone
  • Your symptoms are moderate to severe (VISA-A score below 60)
  • You have not had a major injury or surgery on the same leg in the past year
  • You do not have other health problems (like severe ankle arthritis or nerve disorders) that would prevent you from completing study assessments
