Who can take part

  • You must have a diagnosis of glioblastoma (a type of brain tumor) or gliosarcoma, or a lower-grade tumor that turned into a grade 4 tumor.
  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You must be able to do most of your daily activities on your own (Karnofsky performance score of 70% or higher).
  • You must have had radiation therapy to your brain before (at full doses).
  • You must have an MRI that shows the new radiation plan is safe.
  • You must have enough blood cells (neutrophils and platelets) and good kidney and liver function.
