Who can take part

  • You must be between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You must have a body mass index (a measure of weight relative to height) between 18 and 32.
  • You must be in good general health, with no major medical conditions.
  • You cannot have taken part in another clinical trial in the last 30 days (or longer for some drugs).
  • Women who could become pregnant must have a negative pregnancy test and use birth control for 90 days after the last dose; men must also use birth control for 90 days.
  • You must not smoke more than 5 cigarettes per day and be willing to stop smoking during the trial.
  • You must not drink more than 14 units of alcohol per week (roughly 7 standard drinks) and be willing to avoid alcohol during the trial.
