  • You have a broken bone near a joint (wrist, shoulder, or knee) that has a gap needing bone grafting.
  • You are between 18 and 70 years old.
  • You are willing to sign a consent form and come back for follow-up visits after surgery.
  • Your doctor says it is safe for you to have the surgery and to receive a magnesium alloy implant.
