Genetic testing of embryos for women aged 37-41

This trial tests whether checking embryos for extra or missing chromosomes (aneuploidy) before transfer improves IVF success for women aged 37-41. You may be eligible if you have a partner or are using donor sperm and have normal ovarian reserve.

Who can take part

  • You are a woman between 37 and 41 years old.
  • You have a male partner, a female partner, or are using sperm from a donor.
  • Your AMH level (ovarian reserve test) is at least 6.28 pmol/L, measured within the past year.
  • This will be your first to fifth IVF/ICSI cycle (cycles before a successful birth don't count).
  • You do not need special genetic testing for chromosome rearrangements or single-gene disorders.
