Who can take part

  • You must live in a rural area in a participating region of Niger.
  • For women: you must be between 12 and 55 years old and be selected for monitoring.
  • For children: your child must be between 1 month and 5 years old and be selected for monitoring.
  • You or your caregiver must give verbal permission to join.
  • You cannot take part if you have a known allergy to antibiotics like azithromycin (a macrolide).
