Who can take part
- Age 18 or older
- Diagnosed with bronchiectasis (widened airways) on a CT scan
- Had a positive test for Pseudomonas aeruginosa (PA) bacteria in your sputum or lung sample within the last 3 months, with another positive sample in the last 3 weeks
- Either never had PA before, or have been free of PA infection for at least 1 year (confirmed by at least two negative tests in the past year)
- Covered by French health insurance and able to give informed consent
- Not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant (must use reliable birth control for 3 months)
