Who can take part

  • Patient must be in a neonatal or pediatric ICU (NICU, PICU, or PCICU).
  • Must have an arterial line for routine blood draws.
  • Must be at least 18 years old (or have a parent/guardian if younger).
  • No pregnancy or recent dye injections (within 48 hours).
  • No severe skin problems, nail polish, artificial nails, or jewelry at the sensor site.
