Who can take part
- You are at least 30 years old
- You have a serious infection (sepsis) that caused kidney damage (acute kidney injury, or AKI) within the last 24 hours
- You do not have advanced chronic kidney disease that requires dialysis or is stage 3a or worse
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding
- You can lie still for a PET-CT scan (no severe claustrophobia or unstable medical condition)
